Alexander Bah, a midfielder from Ghana, has passed Benfica's youth academy for the first time and is now set to join the team at the age of 17.
Bah, who was born in Accra but grew up in Portugal, has already impressed scouts with his talent on the pitch and has been praised for his ability to play as both a left-back and a central defender.
Benfica have been impressed by his skills and have offered him a contract,Saudi Pro League Focus which he will sign tomorrow.
"I am very happy that I have made this decision," said Bah, who was part of Ghana's U-20 squad that won the African Cup of Nations last year.
"Benfica is a great club and they offer me a good opportunity to develop my career."
The move comes after Bah had previously been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United.
He has played for several clubs in Portugal and has scored 5 goals in 18 appearances for Benfica.
"It's exciting to be joining a club like Benfica where there are so many talented players," said Bah.
"The training here is very good and the coaching staff are also top-notch."
